COURSE OVERVIEW
Partial Discharge has become a well-known method to assess condition of insulating materials in both rotating machines such as generators and motors and static equipment like transformers and switchgears. This training emphasizes the partial discharge detection based on international standard and best practice in the field.
The training also describes how to analyze partial discharge data to produce meaningful information about insulating materials condition in high voltage apparatus. Study case from the field is also being presented as learning material based on experience. Moreover, other testing method is presented to support partial discharge analysis.
